Hmmm...

Well, our day started out pretty chaotic...a kiddo vomited on the carpet and all over my desk right before the test began! So, I shuffled the kiddos out of the room but since everyone else was already testing, we had to go sit outside (I didn't break protocol because I grabbed the test booklets! Phew!) while we waited on Mrs. Andrews to let us know what to do. It was decided that we would be testing in the Media Center but first, we had to brave the room to grab our pencils. Most kids had already gotten comfortable and didn't even have their shoes on! Oh well! They showed awesome flexibility and with an ok report from the substitute (minus two students), they earned their final 2 potato head pieces! After testing, lunch and recess, we worked on some reading, writing and math from yesterday and then enjoyed a glorious celebration of outdoor recess! We came in to pack up and then had an amazing fire drill (we earned our first new potato head piece) and then special-Art. Did you see all the amazing art pieces that came home today?? Lovely!
