another sub...sorry!

It's so hard to be out of the room! I'd much rather be in the classroom with the children but I also need to know where they currently are in their learning...so today, there was a substitute in the classroom and I was next door pulling kiddos out to read with me. Here's what they (hopefully) accomplished:

M4T, morning meeting with greeting the guest teacher, sharing how they keep warm on cold days and playing "just like me," Word Study focused on understanding words associated with Social Studies, they continued their opinion writing in Writer's Workshop and read Imaginary Fred, a picture book for March Book Madness for Read Aloud. In Reader's Workshop, they just needed to read independently and for math, they worked with composing fractions and what that means. Also, Dr. Donna came to make fossils today!

Sorry this isn't very detailed today but I wasn't there to get all the details! I'm sure your kiddo can share the ins and outs!
