Blah, blah, blah...

This is the sound that must come out of my mouth when I think I'm speaking words to the children...! :) I had to repeat myself SOOO much today it seemed that way!

Our day began with our M4T assessment and no one received 12/12. I'm not sure if it was because they rushed so they could work on their LEGO writing or if it was just more difficult this week. I didn't think it was challenging, though. Our meeting only consisted of the news today as it was 10 minutes long! It did introduce us to 2 of the student teachers in the building and told us that TFK booklets will be coming home next week for our annual "fundraiser." We spent the next 45 minutes finishing up our LEGO Story Starters Stories. In Read Aloud, we finished Love That Dog and discussed how Jack's poems got better the more emotion he put into them. We finished up our TFK Year in Pictures, read new books that I got from the library in preparation for March Book Madness and created 40 flowers for Mrs. Andrews' 40th birthday today! (Our Intervention teacher.) We had gym, lunch and indoor recess (? maybe too wet?) and then took the Student Experience Survey about the culture of our classroom and school. After the survey, Dr. Donna came in and the students did an EXCELLENT job taking the bones and discovering the type of dinosaur they had found. I was super impressed! Finally, we ended the day completing OUR 2015 in Pictures. **If your kiddo didn't finish, they need to complete this for homework this weekend!
